Minsur´s mobile clinic, the first of its kind and designed with cutting-edge technology started operating in January this year, as part of the commitments set forth in the Development Framework Agreement entered into by the Peruvian mining company and the districts in its area of influence. To date, it has served 2,563 people from Antauta and Ajoyani.
The mobile clinic is an extraordinary initiative that brings healthcare services closer to the population, scattered in rural areas. And it is the result of joint efforts between the company and the government. It is a bus adapted with top notch equipment that allows providing services of general medicine, laboratory, ophthalmology, obstetrics, and gynecology, 4D ultrasound, among others. Furthermore, it is environmentally friendly since it is powered with solar energy.
Lucía Ávila, social manager of San Rafael mine, stated that “Minsur prioritizes people’s health as part of its business purpose.
